Reawaken Spring

Good morning and happy Monday! It is has been a long minute since I’ve written, but I have taken some time off to invest in other projects. Some very exciting ones! Please pour a cup of warm coffee and splurge for a chocolate scone this morning, because you are cordially invited to a spring tea party.

“Spring is nature’s way of saying, ‘Let’s Party!’”

-Robin Willams

Spring is married to a fresh start, is a sister to new beginnings, and a mother to newly found energy. Small red-breasted robins search for a meal in the early hours of the morning while listening to the sweet melodies of a charm of finches. Ducklings look to their momma for guidance as they waddle through this new world with fluffy feathers and oversized feet. Yellow tulips gently emerge from the soil awaiting the warmth of the sun and the sweet kiss of a ladybug.

Spring opens her arms to the pale, seasonally glum, and antsy people of the world. She opens their windows, mops their floors, cleans out their cupboards, and encourages them to go for a long walk alongside their closest friend. Spring wears a crown of blush colored roses intertwined with thyme and bright yellow daffodils. Her hair radiates an afternoon light and she strums a euphony of flitting butterfly wings, a slight breeze through the trees, small chirps of small birds, the pitter-patter of a squirrel on the roof, and the laughter of neighbors enjoying each other’s company.

“The Earth laughs in flowers.” - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Spring is a time for reset, a time to awaken from the long winter slumber, and a time to rejoice in the celebration of new life. I hope you enjoyed the company of this tea party and to plant something new for Spring herself to admire.

Cheers,

The Daily Paige
