My name is Paige Connair. I am a late twenty year old living in Idaho with my husband and newly adopted dog. I wanted to start this blog for my love of writing and just for the heck of it. Cheers to day one!

Meet Patton, our newly adopted rescue dog and sweetest addition to the family.

Pups over Potatoes

Before we adopted Patton, our weekends were consumed by the couch potato lifestyle featuring laundry, chore catch-up, and one day of relaxation. Life moved fast dragging my husband and I behind it. Were we living for ourselves? Or did we turn into corporate zombies fueled by overpriced morning coffees, incentivized by dangling carrots, with a fear of the unknown?

Either way, something in our life needed to change. This is where Patton, our rescued lab-collie mix, came into the picture. A one year old playful pup full of adventure, sweetness, and lots of love to give. He took us for walks two times a day, got us outside to play fetch, and revived us from our endless zombie sleep. General Patton would be proud of his furry cadet.
